Therefore, according to a certain storage and temperature conditions, a certain area of silicone rubber film (abbreviated as silicon film) is embedded on the polyethylene plastic film bag to form a silicon film gas exchange window (simple silicon window), so that the O2 and CO2 in the bag are maintained. Within a certain range, many expensive equipments for gas storage and cumbersome operation of bagging, wiping, and sweating are eliminated, cost is reduced, and good food and commodity rates are increased (up to 98%). Despite the obvious mildew in the shoots, the chlorophyll, water content, total sugar and vitamin C in the stem were higher than those in the polyethylene bag storage method (especially 17.72% in chlorophyll). The loss was low and the sensory quality was higher. Significant economic benefits.
1 Silicon window plastic film pouch standard and production. A window is opened on a polyethylene bag which is 100-110 cm long and 70-80 cm wide, and a silicon film which is slightly larger than the window is connected with a high-frequency electronic heat sealer. The window area depends on the storage and storage temperature, the general storage of 20kg bag, open area of 100 square centimeters (10cm10cm). If the bag product and the window surface are certain, the storage capacity of each bag is also certain. Bags must be weighed strictly and must not be arbitrarily increased or decreased.
2 storage management technology. Mainly includes temperature management, gas management, humidity management and so on.
a. Temperature management. The method has stricter requirements for temperature control, the temperature of the library should be stable at 0-0.5°C, and the average temperature should be below 0°C (-0.25°C). It is extremely beneficial and important to lighten the changes of light garlic sprouts. Therefore, it is necessary to closely monitor the dynamics of the library temperature, and accordingly take corresponding management measures, specifically with the polyethylene bag storage method.
b. Humidity management. The relative humidity in the warehouse is between 90% and 95%. Because the silicon window bag storage bag sealing bag is generally not open after the ventilation, so the humidity inside the bag is high, is conducive to moisturizing the garlic sprouts without dehydration. If the library is wet too low, a silicon window with good permeability will accelerate the humidity and moisture balance in the bag, causing the garlic sprouts to lose water and wilting. When the humidity is too high, the silicone window will cause the humidity in the bag to rise. Deterioration of the microclimate inside the bag increases bad consumption and reduces the effect of preservation. Therefore, wet storage control is more important than polyethylene bag storage. It is required to place hygrometers in different positions in the library and periodically monitor the humidity changes in the library so as to take appropriate management measures. When it is dry, spray water in the reservoir with a suitable amount of sprayer, or hang wet sacks at the air outlet, or use a humidifier to increase the humidity of the air. When it is too wet, arrange some desiccant or quick moisture in the warehouse.
c. Gas management. Gas requirements O2 1.0%-2.5%, CO2 5.0%-7.0%. In the silicon window bag, with the extension of the storage time, garlic bulbs continuously increased the CO2 concentration in the bag due to respiration, and the O2 concentration decreased continuously. The CO2 concentration peaked about 10 days after storage, and the O2 concentration valley appeared around 15 days after storage. Then CO2 decreased slightly and O2 increased slightly. During the 7-month storage period, the CO2 and O2 concentrations were basically stable. This is the fundamental guarantee for the high quality of cold preservation and low loss of natural garlic. Therefore, management must adopt the O2 lower limit or set the CO2 high limit approach to avoid low O2 and high CO2 damage. Practice shows that O2 1.5%-2.5%, CO2 5.5%-6.5%, its storage and preservation effect is very good. Long-term CO2 above 7.0% is prone to CO2 gas damage. This indicator requires that the polyethylene bag storage method is much lower, indicating that the silicon window bag storage is mainly used for preservation and inhibition of microbial respiration, mainly CO2, and the polyethylene bag storage method is mainly O2 for inhibiting respiration, so in terms of gas management It is required that the polyethylene bag storage method be centered on O2 control, and it should be transferred to a management strategy centered on CO2 control and supplemented by low O2 regulation.
Precautions:
(a) The law has higher quality requirements for garlic sprouts. Because the window bags do not open for a long period of time, the high-humidity environment inside the bags will increase the amount of mildew. Therefore, only good storage quality garlic sprouts can achieve better preservation effect; otherwise, the storage and preservation effect is not as good as polyethylene. Bags are good for storage.
(b) Strengthen anti-corrosion work before storage of garlic sprouts. It is precisely because of this law that mold and mold become heavy. Therefore, anti-corrosion work before storage is particularly important and must be strengthened.
